Diane Coffin Kutter

Obituary of Diane Coffin Kutter

Diane Kutter passed away peacefully at her home in Osprey, Florida on December 9, 2020.  She was a very special person, characterized by her smile, infectious giggle and sparkling eyes.  Her beauty inside and out with a welcoming kind heart was cherished by her family and friends.  She was loved by everyone who knew her.

Diane was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 18, 1955 to the late John G. Coffin II and to the late Helen L. Stout.  She was preceded in death by her step-father, Warren C. Stout, and her brother, John G. Coffin III. Diane will be remembered by her loving husband, Dale Kutter; dear sisters, Carol Ann Barnett (Tom) and Carol Miller (Doug); brothers, Craig Stout (Diane) and Larry Stout (Debbie) and several wonderful nieces and nephews including Patricia, Jessica, Kelsey, Andy, Kary, Ian, Kyle, and Lauren. Our family and friends were privileged to have her as part of all of our lives.

Diane grew up in Michigan then moved to Minnesota where she worked most of her life in the Title Insurance Industry.  She became an executive and manager with her company and earned an early retirement from a career that she loved.  Diane and Dale moved to South Bay Yacht and Racquet Club Community in Osprey, Florida where they enjoyed extensive boating, volunteering and socializing.  Diane and Dale traveled throughout the world and Diane was always the most curious traveler wanting to know more and "why".  She was also generous beyond measure with her time, her possessions, and her love.

The date and location for Diane's Life Celebration will be determined at a later time when COVID-19 is under control.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be directed to Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, Florida.
