Obituary of Steven R. Finnery

Steven R. Finnery, 83, passed on February 3, 2021.  He is survived by his wife Jean (Culp) Finnery, son, Jeff, daughter, Stephanie Harris (Jeff) and sisters Linda Podkowa and Dorothy Kleinschmidt and niece, Lynn Buckner (Rick). 

Born in Chicago, Steven grew up in foster homes and started working at UPS.  He was then drafted into the Army and after serving two years, he returned to UPS where he retired after 40 years.  Steve was an avid golfer and a member of TPC Prestancia and Wetherington Golf and Country Club.  Steve was also a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.  He was a generous giver of his time, talent and treasure and is known for his fun-loving spirit.  He will be missed by many.
