Obituary of Barbara A. Henni

Barbara A. Henni, 83, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021.  She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years Miklos Henni.  She is survived by her three children Kristina Milde (Rick) of Matthews, NC, Miklos (Elizabeth) of Ridgewood, NJ, and Mark (Jennifer) of Woodcliff Lake, NJ.  Barbara is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Daniel Milde, Erik Milde, Kaitlin Milde, Nicole Milde, Michael Henni, Matthew Henni, Christopher Henni, Brandon Henni, Joseph Henni, Mark Henni, John Henni and Ingrid Henni.

She was born December 11, 1937 in New York City, New York, and married the love of her life, Miklos (Miki) on July 18, 1959.  They lived in New York City and their summer house in Candlewood Lake, CT until moving to the suburbs, River Edge, NJ in 1971.  In 1974, Barbara envisioned the construction of a new home in Woodcliff Lake, NJ where she raised the family until retiring after over twenty years from being a traffic manager for a large furniture retailer in 1998 and moving to Sarasota, Florida.  

Barbara was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother who very much enjoyed tending to her garden, designing homes, dancing and talking with her children and grandchildren.  She never missed a day of doing her crosswords. 

A Rite of Funeral Mass will be held in New Jersey at a later date.
