Obituary of Donna Jean Chillemi

Donna Jean Chillemi of Sarasota, Fl passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022 at the age of 58.  She was born on December 5th of 1963 in Manhattan, New York. Married to Thomas Chillemi for 40 years. 

She was a devoted, loving Mother of two children that were her whole world.  Danielle Jessica Chillemi & Thomas James Chillemi Jr.  She also leaves behind her grandson Kaleb Michael Chillemi-Walding who called her Nana.  As well as a Nonnie to Matthew Frank D'Antonio, the son of her niece Cara Marie Russell.  Her sister Helen Marie Toomey now both reunited forever with angel wings.  She also leaves behind her brother Thomas (Buddy) Toomey Jr. 

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Susan (Nancy Quinn) Toomey & Thomas Patrick Toomey. 

She served in Army National Guard and was very proud of that. 

Donna also leaves behind numerous family & friends that meant so much to her, especially the children she took under her wing and mothered.  Family and making memories was everything to her, especially getting to cruise and snorkel islands. 

Her smile and laugh were contagious.  You always wanted to be around her.  She lit up a room with her personality.  She was the best.  An amazing wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. 

There will be a celebration of life party after the church service at Sun Outdoors (Sun & Fun) in the Pavilion Room at 3pm on Wednesday June 8th 2022, where we want to see and hear everyone's stories and share her pictures of life with you all.
