My brother-in-law Eric was a kind and generous man, who was so supportive when our sister Mary and our mother, when she contracted cancer and died in 1982. He was a valued mentor and friend to me when I joined IBM many years ago. When he married Mary in 1992, he became more like a brother to us, and uncle to his many nieces and nephews, and most importantly a devoted husband to our sister. He will be sorely missed by all of us in the family. RIP Eric.
