Obituary of Marc Julius

Marc Julius of Sarasota, FL, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 12 after a courageous, year-long battle with prostate cancer.

Marc was born on April 2, 1942, in West Palm Beach, Florida, to Dezso and Fanny (Monheit) Julius.

He is survived by his son Brian Julius and his wife Susan; and his son David Julius and his wife Sarah. He is also survived by his brother Leonard Julius, his sister Lynn Givens and her husband Gerald, and his granddaughter Jennie Julius.

Marc was a resident of Marina Del Sol Condominiums and was a past member and vice president of the Board of Directors. Up until the time of his passing, he was a dedicated and outspoken advocate for the efforts to preserve the character and quality of life in his adopted home, Siesta Key.  

Arrangements are under Jennings Funeral Home and Crematory in Sarasota www.jenningsfhc.com. There will be a memorial service on Monday, January 23 at 2:00 PM .  The service can be viewed on Zoom.
