Obituary of Cynthia Jean Taylor

Cynthia Jean Taylor of Sarasota, Florida (formerly Lansing, MI) sadly left us on March 21, 2023.  She was born on April 27, 1948, in Lansing where she resided until her retirement.  Cindy was a graduate of Michigan State University where she received Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Education.  She went on to become a beloved kindergarten and third grade teacher for over 30 years within the Eaton Rapids School System.

Cindy was adored by her family to include her husband Brig Gen (ret) Robert V. Taylor.  Cindy and Bob met while attending Everett High School in Lansing, MI.  She is survived by Robert, daughters Lisa Thompson and Kimberly (Dan) Snyder, grandchildren, Cole Haslinger, Carson Haslinger, Taylor Snyder, Conner Snyder, Ella Thompson and sisters Susie (Dave) Rhinard and Linda (Chuck) Schram.

Cindy and Bob moved to Sarasota, Florida in 2006 where they made life lasting friendships, enjoyed golfing, entertaining, and traveling the world.  As the heartbeat of the family, Cindy will be dearly missed.  Her legacy will live on through her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Cindy will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to Tidewell Hospice House of Sarasota.
