Obituary of Ronald J. Gagliardi
Ronald J. Gagliardi, age 81, of Venice, FL, passed away on January 29, 2024. He was born in Lockport, NY on October 5, 1942 to Albert and Josephine Gagliardi. Ron was an industrial engineer for General Motors before he retired and moved from Lockport to Florida many years ago. Ron enjoyed sports of all kinds, but he was known as an avid NY Yankee fan. He was very active in the Englewood, FL Senior Softball League.
Surviving family members include his wife, Diane Gagliardi; daughters Marie DiMarco (Joseph), Gina Garred (John), Leanne Blinco (Charles); son Todd Gagliardi (Kim); grandchildren Elise, Daniel and Madison DiMarco, Laura and Sarah Menz, Analeigh Blinco, and Anthony and Nicholas Gagliardi; step daughter Melissa Lingo (Todd); step granddaughter Melina; his father’s wife Karen Gagliardi and sister Rosemary Kowalski (James).
Visitation will be at Venice Presbyterian Church from 12 – 1 PM on Tuesday, February 6th, followed by a funeral service at 1 PM. Interment will follow services at Venice Memorial Gardens.
