Obituary of Tom Sullivan

Thomas (Tom) Charles Sullivan, 63, passed away suddenly at his home in Spokane WA on Tuesday January 30, 2024. Tom was born on December 19, 1960 in St. Louis MO, the eldest of four children to Charles (deceased on April 18, 2020) and Susan Sullivan (deceased on June 16, 2019) of Venice FL. He was a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School, Warminster, PA and Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. 

Tom loved his family, friends, and career. He was a huge car enthusiast and knew most everything about every car ever made. He was an excellent skier and enjoyed his time on the slopes. He had a strong Catholic upbringing and held onto his faith throughout his life. 

 He lived in some of the most beautiful places in the country – including Spokane WA; Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; Scottsdale AZ; Park City, UT; Dayton, OH; Doylestown, PA; Amherst, NY; and St. Louis, MO Making close lifelong friends in each location. 

 

Tom was a top-performing global sales leader with over 35 years of experience in information technology. Most recently he was an Area Vice President at Teradata directing all aspects of the company’s business relationships with multiple complex global accounts in the automotive and manufacturing industry. 

 

Those who knew him enjoyed his leadership, friendship, quick wit, humor, and car expertise. 

 

He is survived by his two sisters Mary Carol Sullivan and Patricia Anne Sullivan, both of Venice FL, and his brother Brian Robert Sullivan (wife Sridevi). He is also survived by his extended family including many cousins, and their children. 

 

A funeral mass will be celebrated, 10:00am on Monday February 26, 2024, at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, FL. The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please consider a donation to the American Heart Society in his name.
