Obituary of Susan Kay Southwick

Susan Kay Southwick, age 62, of Venice, FL, passed away on February 11, 2024.  She was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 21, 1962 to Loren and Patricia Cope.

Sue worked at Venice Hospital for 32 years, then moving to Dr. Johnson’s office after the hospital closing.  She will be remembered as a kind soul who loved being with her family. She also enjoyed visiting the jetty and as a bird lover.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, David Southwick of Venice; daughters Christina Nowlan (Robert) and Mackenzie Southwick; son Matthew Southwick (Jax); and many grandchildren.
Susan was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Southwick.

A visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home, Venice, on Saturday, 2/17, from 5 – 6 pm with a funeral service at 6 pm.
