Obituary of Beatrice Powell
Beatrice Powell, age 95, of Venice, FL, passed away on February 25, 2024. She was born in Primrose, KY on July 8, 1928 to Albert and Mauvery Coomer. Beatrice lived in Ohio and Michigan before settling in Florida about 7 years ago. At the age of 95, Beatrice outlived her 10 brothers and sisters.
Beatrice enjoyed the outdoors and riding in her golf cart. When she was inside, her passions included watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, word search puzzles, the gambling machine at the Eagles Club, and checking for winning scratch off tickets.
She is survived by her daughter, Dona O’Connor and a host of relatives and good friends.
There will be a memorial gathering at the Country Club Estates, 700 N Waterway, Venice, FL 34285, on Saturday, April 6th from 2-5 pm.
